Malaria is a risk in Kenya, but don’t fret! Prior to departure, you will likely obtain malaria pills that you will take everyday throughout the trip for protection. Atovaquaone/proguanil, doxycycline, and mefloquine are the most common malaria-pill prescriptions that are administered. Please talk to your primary doctor about this.
